Inspire Network Conference

Inspire Network Conference

Saturday 3rd July, 2010
The Riverside Centre in Derby

'The Way of Mission Spirituality'

We will be exploring the vision of discipleship which is at the heart of Inspire; to nurture growth in personal spirituality with a commitment to evangelistic mission.

The day will be an intensive blend of worship, teaching and group discussion. In the morning, we will be exploring the 'big vision' of mission and spirituality that lies behind mission-shaped discipleship. In the afternoon, we will be exploring how this discipleship can be nurtured through the mutual accountability and spiritual direction of small groups.

This conference is designed for anyone who is interested in mission, spirituality and discipleship. It will be of special interest to those in leadership, both lay and ordained, who have a heart for mentoring others to become mission-shaped disciples.

The day will also be a useful introduction to the Inspire Network, which is all about starting up, connecting and training small groups in the way of mission spirituality.

I would encourage you to:

  • Pray for the conference and the Network
  • Consider attending the conference yourself
  • Encourage others to participate, and explore the Network for themselves

There is no set cost for this year's conference, though a recommended minimum contribution of £20 per person would help us to cover costs, including all conference materials, light lunch and refreshments throughout the day. Our host will be The Riverside Centre in Derby (for further details see their website,  www.theriversidecentre.co.uk ).

Finally, there will be an  inspire4kids  programme running concurrently, led by a very experienced children's ministry team. This is will be a day of experiential learning for the children of participants, following the same theme of mission spirituality.

Please make a note of the date in your diary!
