Please find detailed below information about some upcoming events for Local Preachers happening across the District. Please could you publicise them at your next local preachers meeting or via e mail to your local preachers and worship leaders.
We are very pleased that our fellow Christians from other denominations will be sharing these opportunities with us too so please feel free to pass this information on.
Experience:Reflect:Apply
A new series of study events offering Local Preachers, Worship Leaders and Ministers a chance to explore themes connected to their faith and service.
The first event is being held at two locations across the district in the early summer.
“Taking a look at VAK” offers a chance to spend the day looking at how different people like to learn and experience new things. It considers the use of visual (seeing), auditory (listening) and kinaesthetic (doing) ideas in worship and why the mix is so important. This is a real chance to share with people from across the district and experience new ideas and fresh approaches which you can then use in your own churches and circuits.

Wednesday 23 June 2010 – Gainsborough Methodist Church
Saturday 26 June 2010 – Coningsby Methodist Church
Timeslot 10.00am – 3.00pm
More information will follow on booking arrangements etc will be available early in the New Year.
